Prof. Dr. med. Patrick Weber ist ein renommierter Spezialist im Bereich der Implantation und Revision von Hüft- und Knieendoprothesen. Durch seine langjährige Tätigkeit als Leiter der Hüftendoprothetik und stellvertretender Leiter der Knieendoprothetik am Klinikum der Universität München (LMU, Klinikum Großhadern) deckt er das gesamte Gebiet der Endoprothetik auch bei komplexen Fällen wir Hüftdysplasien oder posttraumatischen Arthrosen ab. Seit vielen Jahren führt er die Implantation von Hüftendoprothesen minimalinvasiv mit der AMIS Methode durch. Dabei ist er auch Referenzoperateur und Ausbilder für diese Methode. Ein weiterer Schwerpunkt seiner Arbeit stellt der Wechsel von Hüft- und Knieendoprothesen dar.  

Mit über 150 Veröffentlichungen und Vorträgen ist Prof. Dr. Weber ein regelmäßig geladener und anerkannter Vortragender bei nationalen und internationalen Veranstaltungen zum Thema der Endoprothetik.
